Fellside have brought out the late Peter Bellamy's first three LPs in this double CD. As Mainly Norfolk and Fair England's Shore were recorded by Bill Leader I don't know by what mechanism the rights were acquired but I am just grateful that they were. The other LP The Fox Jumped Over the Parson's Gate was originally released by Topic.

If you like Bellamy's singing then this is a gem that is not to be missed. Playing the CDs on a long car journey I was struck by the way that he was able to put so much variety into unaccompanied song.
