This is Ryan's latest “musical drama” and the cast are Heather Bradford, Paul Downes, Judy Dunlop, Jackie Oates and Roger Watson. The vocals were all written by Ryan as was most of the music.

What is there to say about a line up like that? The singing and musicianship is superb. The presentation is a series of distinct songs interspersed with some spoken passages. Unlike the Radio Ballads there is nothing in the writing that will, in my view, pass into the general repertoire.

The live show would have been worth seeing but as a recording it simply doesn't work.
